Assessing quality and impact of eHealth tools – a Practical Toolbox
Today’s advancements in technologies enabled the creation of hundreds of thousands of eHealth tools that are made available to users. However, very few tools have gone through expert assessment, and the vast majority don’t make it past the pilot phase because they fail to prove value.
And while there are many assessment initiatives and frameworks, the challenges facing these efforts are considerable. To name a few: the contextual nature of healthcare, lack of validation, lack of completeness of the criteria, and lack of practicability.
We launched this project to tackle some of these challenges.
